What is Del Toro?
Del Toro represents the intersection of luxury and innovation; blending classic Italian quality with forward-thinking design. Conceived with a single black velvet slipper and the well-worn hands of an Italian shoemaker off the Adriatic Coast, Del Toro has since pushed the bounds of creativity, while maintaining simplicity at its core. We are artists, athletes, entrepreneurs, and innovators. But most of all, Del Toro is the force behind Italian footwear, offering a touch of luxury into your everyday lives.

I saw a pair of shoes I want but I can’t find them online?
Our seasonal shoes are extremely limited; however, we can re-create custom pairs from our past collections. Contact email@example.com for more information.
My product is old, worn, damaged or has some quality issue. Can you fix it?
Del Toro is a footwear design and manufacturing company but not necessarily and footwear repair company. We can likely repair most product issues, but our first line of defense is a local cobbler. We will review the issue, located a local cobbler in your area and ask them to repair the product. Depending on the circumstance Del Toro usually covers the costs for these repairs. In extreme circumstances, Del Toro will replace your product with a new pair after reviewing your damaged pair back at our warehouse. If you are experiencing issues with your products please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
How can I change my order once it’s been placed?
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that it will be possible to change your order. In the event of a mistake, please email email@example.com and we will do our best to update your order before it’s shipped. Please note that if your order is a custom pair then we cannot replace it - and depending on its stage of production changes might not be possible. You can visit the “my account” area on our website to make changes to your address or contact information. It is important to make these changes as soon as possible before our fulfillment team process and ships your order. if an order has already shipped or is in transit please contact firstname.lastname@example.org so we can do our best to make adjustments.
How long does it take to receive my shoes?
Processing and shipping takes 4-6 business days within the continental United States. During holidays or sales these timelines might be extended. Preorders, backorders and custom orders all have their own independent timelines and depend on production in Italy to ship and arrive in a timely manner. Most pre-orders are only sold a few days in advance of our warehouse receiving new products - but sometimes new products are sold and end up being held up by customs department or freight providers - both of which are outside of our control. Back orders can take up to several weeks depending on if those styles are already in production or have to be ordered upon receiving a new backorder request. Customs take 6-8 weeks to arrive.
Do you ship Internationally?
We ship anywhere in the world, shipping usually takes 10-14 business days! Shipping outside the United States is at cost and the receiver will be expected to pay it’s countries' duties. Returns outside the United States are possible but the customer must pay return shipping. Del Toro is not responsible for any taxes or duties imposed by local jurisdictions. Refusal to pay duties in a local jurisdiction is not grounds for returning a product however most circumstances will be evaluated independently. You should research and expect to pay duties when ordering internationally (outside of the United States).
What is your Return Policy?
We accept returns within 14 days of your purchase, if the shoes are in the same condition as when they were sold. That means, if you wore your shoes outside, used them as a canvas for your artistic endeavors (that would be cool), or ironically decided to use them as a high-quality Italian-made pasta bowl, we can’t accept your return. Other than that, you can begin to process your return here. For further return details, please visit our returns page.
I forgot to take advantage of a promotion when I ordered. Will you honor that promotion even though the promotion is over?
It depends on the promotion and the product purchased. If the promotion is still currently ongoing, then we will honor the terms of the promotion. If the promotion period has passed we reserve the right to deny any return requests depending on the product ordered and the promotion in question. I noticed the price went down after I bought the product.
Will you refund the difference between the (higher) price I paid for my product and new (lower) sale price?
No. Although this might seem like a firm stance to take on this position, we ask our customers to understand that we are a small business making limited collections of artisan products. If a style is on sale it is because it is part of a previous season or collection and needs to be sold to make room for new products and promotions. The purpose of discounting the product is to encourage sales and shipping those products to our customers. If the product price is further reduced in the future it is because there are even less units on hand (sometimes we only have one or two left) and those last units on hand need to be sold out to the piece. Returns on sale items are typically outside of our return policy, so shipping the item back for a refund to just buy it again at the new lower price is typically not an option. We review every order and hand so we will notice any customers trying to abuse this policy.
If you find yourself in this position please email email@example.com so we can try to come up with a fair solution.
Today it is full price, but I saw it on sale yesterday. Will you honor the sale price if the sale is over?
It depends on the promotion and the product you intend on purchasing. Normally we find a way to offer the price requested by the customer but not all promotions can be extended in this way. Often promotions have to do with a holiday or a specific collaboration and can't be extended. If you have questions on a particular product or price please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
